The challenges

What is at stake

Sizing, supply, installation and connection of generator sets with automatic transfer switches, to keep essential activities running during outages.

Power cuts give no warning

A mains failure stops business, medical equipment, the cold chain or production.

Our answer

Automatic start and restoration of essential circuits within seconds.

A correctly sized generator

Undersized, it trips when large motors start; oversized, it costs a lot and clogs up.

Our answer

A precise load assessment, taking inrush currents and planned extensions into account.

A generator that starts when it matters

A flat battery, stale diesel, clogged filters: a generator that is never tested is a generator that will not start.

Our answer

Regular tests, scheduled maintenance and tracking of running hours.

A safe changeover

The generator and the mains must never be connected at the same time.

Our answer

An automatic transfer switch with interlocking, adjusted and tested.

Architecture

An architecture designed in layers

Mains, transfer switch and generator form a single system: as soon as the mains fails the generator starts and the switch changes over, then everything returns to normal automatically when the mains comes back.

Every installation is delivered tested, labelled and documented, for simple operation and maintenance.

  1. Layer 01

    Mains supply

Continuous monitoring of mains voltage and frequency.

  2. Layer 02

    Generator set

Diesel engine, alternator, soundproofed canopy and fuel reserve.

  3. Layer 03

    Transfer switch

Automatic mains / generator changeover with a safety interlock.

  4. Layer 04

    Backed-up circuits

A board of priority feeders: safety, refrigeration, IT, medical.

  5. Layer 05

    Monitoring

Alarms, running hours and fuel level viewable remotely.

FAQ

Your questions

Another question? Our engineers will answer.

How long does it take to restore power?

A few seconds is usually enough for the generator to start and the switch to change over. For truly uninterrupted power, it is combined with a UPS.

Does the whole building need backup?

Not necessarily. Backing up only essential circuits allows a smaller, cheaper generator.

Do you maintain existing generators?

Yes, whatever the brand: assessment, overhaul and maintenance contract.
